Some of the dates for roses bred by Miellez are incorrect, for they were already listed in Hardy's Catalogue of Roses Cultivated in the Luxembourg of 1837:
L'Admiration, Jason, Petit Jean, Susanne, Taffin, and Delices de Flandre.
They should probably be dated pre-1837.

Thank you for those Darrell. Actually Brent Dickerson has led us back still further to before 1828 for all of these roses.

Did the 1837 catalogue use the spelling of 'Susanne'? We have referenced it as such but wonder if it needs to be added as a synonym.

I presume that means you'll be changing those dates under Miellez's plant list.

Yes, the catalogue spells it with an 's', i.e. "Susanne."

Susanne (Gallica, Miellez, -1828) added as a synonym.
