Son) headed now by Kasturirangan, has done remarkable service to the Indian rose world by not only breeding new imported varities, but also introducing varieties developed by amateurs into commerce. Another service provided by Kasturirangan has been providing access to a wide range of germplasm in the form of new varieties from across the world, which formed the foundation for rose breeding work by most amateurs.
