I purchased this rose last year at the Sacramento Open Garden Sale and have simply loved it. Healthy, nice habit, around 2 1/2 feet and nearly ever present with flowers. I bought it on a whim and have been thrilled with its performance. I would recommend this rose.

I purchased this rose from ARE last year and it arrived very happy and healthy. Although it grew very quickly and had abundant blooms (especially for a first year rose) it developed a very severe case of mildew in its first year. It was covered in mildew the entire summer. As it was container grown I tried the rose in different areas of the yard and two separate organic treatments for the mildew. The only result was that it bloomed and bloomed but the mildew never abated.

Despite the disease issue this rose has great vigor. Yesterday I pulled all the roses that overwintered in containers buried in the garden and of those 12 or so roses RHH easily has the most buds and looked great with no die back. I'm thinking that perhaps I should plant it in the ground and see if it prefers that environment to container cultivation.

This is a lovely little rose. It just blooms and blooms. Such a beautiful yellow color, really stands out in a pot.

Barb........

Thanks again for posting this comment. I have updated the rose page for 'Texas' to show that it blooms continuously throughout the season.

Smiles,

I bought this rose in Spring of 2008 from our local nursery. It has been my experience also that it was a good bloomer. Very pretty, bright yellow blooms of which there always seems to be a few on the plant. I have it growing in a half barrel on our back porch.

Clean growing rose, constantly blooming. I love this rose. One of my favorites in the garden. Little apricot flowers are very cheerful but yes blow fast. They don't last long at all on the bush so are indeed very poor for cut flowers. But since I prefer my roses in the garden anyway they work great. I would buy this rose again in a heartbeat.
