I also think this isn't Mozart.
Maybe a mixup at the nursery, or it might be a sport, but this rose has little resemblance with Mozart.
The picture is beautifully arranged!

thank you
Maurice

Bonjour Maurice,
I see what You mean: Some of flowers are simple with only 5 petals. Those look different!
But other canes have double flowers with more than 5 petals and a different colourpattern.
It looks as if You have found a sport/mutation. It might be interesting to propagate these canes; ownroot or budded on a rootstock.
I think You should not!!! delete the photo's, because it might be interesting, what other members (that have experience with Mozart) think of this matter.
It might help, if You would upload these pictures, before they are processed by photoshop.
They might look more natural.
Best regards, Jay-Jay.

thank you
Maurice

Maybe someone might be interested in Your Sport Of Mozart! To propagate or root cuttings.

Your rose looks like another Lambertiana: Otto Linne.

Bonjour Maurice,
I've got some cuttings from You of this rose in Fall and I stocked them outside in a heap of wet sand in the open air during winter.
Most of them survived that treatment and were allready forming sprouts.
I put the bulk of them in opened pet bottles in potting-soil and treated them with Willow-water.
http://deepgreenpermaculture.com/diy-instructions/home-made-plant-rooting-hormone-willow-water/
Most of them rooted (some even outside in my garden soil).
I made some photo's of them today.
They will be re-potted soon.
Thanks again very much, for sending me cuttings.

Cordialement, Jay-Jay.

This rose was sent to the rose-trials in The Hague in section A. That means in 2014 and 2015 it will be judged on its merits, but until now it didn't do so well and wasn't selected this year for the first 72 roses.
I wonder how Mozart itself would do at the trials.
Next year another chance.

His fragrance is very strong, sweet and spicy, but not similar to a lemon one at all.
