I have a rose that I think is either new dawn or Dr W Van Fleet--it does not rebloom, (may have a few blooms in late fall, but not many), but it is not extremely fragrant--it does have a subtle fragrance up close. I rooted two from a rose in an old garden and they are enormous> do you think this is new dawn or its "parent"? Thanks

New Dawn is a recurrent sport of Dr. W. van Fleet, which is a once bloomer. So yours has to be Dr. W. van Fleet. Many once bloomer will occasionally bloom in the fall.
