Picea pungens (Colorado Spruce) species. Purchased as a Christmas tree, in the spring planted into the ground. I hope it will not grows very fast.

Perfect photo. Shows sepals, receptacle, pedicel, tight bud, opening bud, nearly open bloom and fully open bloom - and leaves, There is so much more interest in a photo like this than the usual "full frontal". Thank you koalaa.
