Thank You Melissa :) Picea pungens (Colorado Spruce) species. Purchased as a Christmas tree, in the spring planted into the ground. I hope it will not grows very fast. Loreta.

What a good catch of this rose Koalaa. Very nice colour and contrast with the leaves moss and prickles!

Perfect photo. Shows sepals, receptacle, pedicel, tight bud, opening bud, nearly open bloom and fully open bloom - and leaves, There is so much more interest in a photo like this than the usual "full frontal". Thank you koalaa.
