Thank you! We also have a comment that it has mild fragrance. Maybe depends on location

‘Winchester Cathedral’ is white. Is this ‘Mary Rose’?

The flower is on the same bush from Winchester cathedral. This has been repeated for several years in a row. Also look at my pictures from previous years on HMF (I am attaching pictures from previous years). Similar images have been published by others. Greetings JdR

Thank you JdR. I have seen this sporting on my plants as well. It is so common on ‘Winchester Cathedral’ that it really helps to explain in your photo caption what the photographed rose actually is. For example “a pink bloom appearing on the white ‘Winchester Cathedral’ bush”....sort of thing.

I’ve put the name of the rose in your photo caption. You don’t need to do a separate comment.

Beautiful picture. I was wondering if you remember what the scent of this rose is like. Is it like old roses, fruit, tea, or something else?

Thank you. I ended up buying it. No buds yet on my plant, but it will be interesting to compare notes on scent when mine blooms too.
