Dear Daniel

I am considering getting this rose and am impressed by your photo. Can you tell me how quickly it repeat blooms and whether it is generous with its blooms during each flush?

Thanks Alana

Dear Galina
Your photos of Moonstone are just wonderful - it looks a magical rose. Can you tell me what climate (country) you live in and whether the repeat is good and the number of blooms is abundant.

Thank you Alana (Melbourne, Australia)

Dear Alana, I live in Kentucky in USA in climate Zone 6. In Winter the temperature can go as low as zero but usual is 30 - 40 F. In Summer we have 80 - 90 F but can go up to 100F, with lots of humidity. The Moonstoen Rose is a vigorous medium-sized bush with large glossy leaves. The blooms are huge (6" across) and abundant, but.almost no fragrance. I highly recommend this because of its hardiness, disease-resistance and compact shape. It is also a great continuous bloomer. The quality and shape of the blooms are very clean and pure and photogenic. I hope you will enjoy. Regards, Galina Morgan

Hi Alana,

This rose is just as beautiful as it appears in the photo. When it blooms, the entire bush is covered with blossoms. I would say its repeat is average, neither exceptionally rapid nor very slow. Moonstone is one of my two or three favorite roses of the 760 or more growing in my garden. Its only weakness is its relative lack of fragrance, but that seems to be true for many of the hybrid teas that make the best cut flowers. Good luck to you. Dianne

Dear Jeanne

I love the photo of Ebb Tide and am considering planting it this year. Does it repeat bloom quickly? Also, what is the lovely rose behind Ebb Tide in this photo?

Regards, Alana
