Rose Listing Omission

Oxley Brenda

Sourced from Bishop's Lodge, Hay, NSW, Australia.

Light/Medium Pink Early Hybrid Tea. Light pink, medium pink reverse. Strong, damask, old rose fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form.

Bushy, upright. Height of up to 5' (up to 150 cm). Width of up to 4' (up to 120 cm).

Thought that it is possibly the Hybrid Tea 'Radiance'.

During the 2003 Heritage Roses in Australia conference, at the property called Wallgrove, other people thought as well that "Oxley Brenda" might be 'Radiance'.

Maybe it would be better to add a footnote to the rose 'Radiance' ? How sure are these "other people" ?

No idea. The scribbled down results from a survey/questionnaire of Wallgrove's unknown roses during a conference tour.

A suggestion from someone during the 2003 Heritage Roses in Australia conference at Hay was that "Oxley Peach" might be 'Talisman'. What do you think of this possibility?
