I am a 69 year-old pensioner, and my husband and I are very, very keen on gardening! Our favourite plants are Roses...!!! We have approximately 350 roses in our garden at present, and are currently ordering another 200 roses to add to our collection. We have been growing roses for nearly 53 years, and have grown many from cuttings. We are both also completely obsessed with knowing all of the information about every rose that we have, and are constantly searching for more information about them - both through reading books & magazines on the subject. I also am very competent on the computer, and not only surf the Internet, for more information, but also keep in-depth records of all the roses that we have ever had. My husband Michael is Dutch (I am Australian & we live in South Australia), and he wants very much to try and hybridize some of the ones we have, in the hope of getting some new varieties. We look forward to using your page as often as we can, because we are both continually searching for more information.
