Were you sold the wrong rose? Looks more like 'Neon Cowboy', possibly. Smoke Rings don't have any yellow in it.Maybe a slight tinge near the eye zone, but nothing as visually yellow (and red) as the mini you were sold :[

Thank you, Michael. I will check on this with the person I bought it from. It didn't match the already-posted pictures, but putting it here turned out to be a good way to validate my suspicions when you posted your comment. I believe you are right.

Woohoo. Glad to help. Sometimes ppl get mad at me for ID, but it happens all the time. Yesterday, at a nursery, there were 4 mis-labeled Star Roses. One of which wasn't even a Star Rose! 3 'Sterling Silver' were actually 'Silver Star', and 1 was Lemon Fizz labeled as Sterling Silver. I inquired about this, and they were confused after I pointed it out (they never noticed from Feb-June????). And said that a grower pots them (varying name-brand bare root plants) together, so it must have gotten mixed up.

Stuff like this happens all the time :D

Hi, Helpmefind,
I posted a picture of my "Smoke Rings" rose, a new-to-me rose I purchased from an acquaintance last winter. I believe it is not Smoke Rings after all, but I don't know how to remove my posting. Can you assist me in removing it?
Thank you.

Of course. But firstly, it is best not to include your email address.
You can actually move or delete your own photos. If you want to delete it altogether:
Open up the photo. On the top right you will see EDIT. Click on that. Then at the bottom you will see DELETE.

If you want to move it, say to 'Neon Cowboy':
Open up the photo. On the top left you will see REASSIGN. Click on that. Select PLANT and then CONTINUE.
I think you then probably need to type in Neon Cowboy, and then just follow the prompt.
You should then see the old wrong name at the top, change to the new correct name.

We will do it for you if there is any problem
