APL 2011 ~ HOTEL CALIF is on sale at SummerWinds(formerly Woolworth Garden Center) here in NorCAL for $35.00. It is tall & without a lot of thorns. It is full of light yellow(nice) big buds. I agree that it would pair nicely with St Pat, as they are the same hew of yeller. Thanks for the warning, though! I am aware that St Pat is great in the vase! You might pair it with DOUBLE DeLIGHT, as it too, lasts & lasts . . .

APL 2011 = ~DD~ is now on sale at OSH hardware stores in NorCAL for $6/each in the small plastic pot size. It was blooming rather nicely, despite the neglect of dear old OSH . . .

Apl 2011 = Currently ~DROP DEAD RED~ is on sale at SummerWinds Nursery in NorCAL for $35 in a plastic pot; it was loaded with prospective buds! Glad to hear that it is a winning red.

Apl 2011 ~ Red MasterPice is available at OSH stores in NorCAL for $6.00 in a pot. The last pot had 2 buds on it, despite not receiving any care! although reds are not my favorite (exception would be Altisissmo in Petaluma, at Cottage Garden Nursery) roses . . . I 'll give this 'master' a try !
