17 April 2024. Livermore, CA. A very interesting sported bloom, on just one side-shoot of a cane branch that otherwise has typical blooms (so far, at least). The sported flower is medium pink, has pale yellow reverses on the petals (as opposed to gold), and at least twice as many petals. I triple-checked that the flower really was on "Marlowe Soft Orange"!

31 October 2022. Livermore, California. Not a great photo, but shows how unusually well it re-bloomed this year, even after a rough, droughty summer. A lot of leaf drop during a week, at one point, of temperatures over 100F (116F two days in a row), but one good rain shower in September revived it and many other roses.

13 May 2022. Livermore, California. More than a hint of salmon-orange in the centers during this flush.

6 May 2022, Livermore, California. Same rose, first flush of following year, after having to be cut from 6' to 1' the previous winter to accommodate termite tenting. Six months later, it is already back to 5' tall and never stopped blooming all summer and fall. As mentioned by others, can be cut back hard!
