Ends up that this rose (which they sent me twice, the second to replace the first error...and it was the same error!) is still unfound for me. I realized after Star blew it on this rose, they sent me the Baroness Von Rothschild. The bloom admittedly is AHMAZING, but only lasts 24-48 hours, not for a vase and this plant gets DISEASED so fast, not worth it. Shovel pruned it. Now, if by some miracle I could get a Baron, I would try that, but at this point, I am a nonbeliever in its existance!

There were quite a few Rothschild roses. Try giving a nursery all the details like: Baronne de Rothschild ® (hybrid tea, Meilland 1968) [MEIgriso]

After looking into this I was a victim of the same error...and bought Baroness Rothschild mislabeled as Baronne E. de Rothschild. My specimen wasn't grown by Star but maybe their error was passed onto the grower of my hot house pot. Makes me question the veracity of the Chicago Peace I bought from the same place around that time. It has always behaved oddly too.
