Originally from the Midwest, I have lived in southern CA for the past 21 years. I became a certified Master Gardener in Ventura County in 2013. Enjoy growing roses, veggies and interesting plants, including "coddling" midwestern plants in my yards' "microclimates".

Have been looking for the rose "Belle Epoque", since we saw it at the Chelsea Flower Show in the UK in 1994. I've never seen a rose as stunning...it looked like an Old Master's painting. It is no longer in patent and seems to be a pretty easy rose to grow. You can get it in all sizes all over the UK. Horribly frustrated that it is not readily available in the US (except for 2 nurseries listed on this board, that never seem have it!!) and don't understand why it is so difficult to obtain. HELP!!!!!
