QueenE resides in the sometimes humid, though temperate, days and cool, summer nights of Milwaukee, WI Zone 5 and helps with my parents' 8500 ft altitude Zone 3/4 CO mountain rose garden with feet of fortunate snow cover. I started out in 2015 with twelve $3 Queen Elizabeths, have shifted to Boerner Aloha Climbers, Taboo, and have Savoy Hotel incoming this spring. Ideas other than QE for a lighter pink and/or dark red rose hedge of 5-7 feet? I've had challenges with canker in spring and rust in late fall and hope better garden hygiene and overwintering practices, as well as the addition of non-bee-killing sprays and more rock solid varieties will help take my garden to the next level.
