I'm going to prune the roses today. I have Hattie Burton, Robert's Wondrous Ruthie, Autumn Sunblaze and Belinda's Dream. I know how to prune Belinda's Dream and I'm watching videos for the others. ***Layer April 3*** Pruned all the roses. So excited! Wish I could find the Aurora and Hannah I really want. Also planted three heucheras, three astilbes, one lavender (next to Belinda's Dream) and Duchess of Edinburgh clematis. Not the clematis I ordered. Will have to contact the company Monday and fond out what happened.

Winter, Feb 10. Excited for spring and new flowers. I found a place to get both an Aurora rose and a Hattie rose, so I'm looking forward to this!I need to set out and find clematis that will suit me/the garden. I know I want Josephine and maybe Silver Moon, as that does well in shade and I may need something like that. Also, the Autumn (is that what it's called), but that seems to grow like a weed and won't need help finding it. It is growing in a lot of places near my home. So, need to find Josephine and some other type - need one that blooms in the summer - for the front. Yippee!!

Got the Wondrous Ruthie rose in the ground Sunday. Hattie is doing veery well, as is Belinda's Dream. That has a new bud! I don't know where to find an Aurora and I'm still trying to decide which Hannah to go with.

Not in place, yet, to do any gardening. I miss it. Had to leave a huge garden in Missouri because of a scary domestic situation. Getting my life back on track and will, hopefully soon, be gardening soon.
