Mam różę 'Meteor' i może są obie trochę podobne, ale jest wielka różnica - 'Meteor' powtarza, a ta róża nigdy.

Just am writing an article about the 15 best slovak roses, and one from is ´Tolstoj´. It seems growing good near the sea, too. Nice pics!

Parentage (from notes of Marián Kováč, Bratislava, Slovakia): sport from ´Dream Girl´ (Jacobus, 1944)

If this is a sport from 'Dream Girl' ought it to be listed as a large flowered climber?

It is a shame that this rose didn't remain in commerce. The flower shown is beautiful.

I would think it is a colour sport, not a climber.

Hello, thanks for questions. This rose is only 70 - 80 cm high, not climber, as her mother, if it´s truth.
´Cholena´ isn´t in a commerce yet, as is not most of Slovak varieties; maybe later.
Some Slovak varieties, breeder S. Gyory, sell M. Šíp from Skaličany, Czech republik. http://www.ruzeskalicany.cz/
Greetings from Slovakia,
Vlado
