Graham Thomas rose photo

This photo is a bit orangy thanks to the afternoon sunlight coming through the dining room window... but the two large open roses on the left are Graham Thomas. The more orangy one on the right is a Pat Austin.

Last year ('04) I got this QE bush as a bargain in the "clearance/almost-dead" section of a local garden center. It overwintered well in my Zone 5b of eastern Canada. This pic was taken on a dark, cold rainy evening with an open shudder (about 7:30pm on Aug.30th, '05)

The most dominant rose in the foreground is Pat Austin (also from David Austin). Behind & to the left is a Queen Elizabeth, and above is the Sophy's Rose. Photo taken in natural, afternoon light coming through the dining room window.

This Rose is from my Zone 5b garden, and was shot one morning on an early walk-about with coffee in hand. The yellow flower behind it is a type of rudbekia that grows about 6' high. Stunning combination.
