I ordered a number of roses from Hortico in 2011, in spite of having bad luck last year. Only one survived, and it wasn't the rose it was supposed to be. I have no idea what it is. I'm finished with Hortico, in spite of the tantalizing selection.

I'm sorry you had such a rotten experience with this nursery. There are MANY of us who had similar experiences and who have refused to do business with them for many years now. Welcome to the society!

I became a premium member a week or two ago and I still can't use the advanced search feature. Pretty soon I won't need it any more this season. How long is it going to take to let me use this feature?

You had multiple member accounts (this one and an anonymous one) and we have combined them. You should be all set now.
Thanks for supporting HMF !

I ordered from Hortico a number of years ago and was disappointed. This past spring, they had a couple of roses I wanted that I could not obtain elsewhere. After all the passed time,I decided to give them another chance. But after their two plants didn't sprout and became the only bare roots I lost all year, never again. There are better nurseries with higher quality stock out there. No more good money after bad for me.

I gave Hortico a chance but will not again. Of the four roses I ordered, three shipped, two died and the run around began. I got the whole "they will ship in the fall" but - now that it's time to ship, surprise surprise, none are available. Instead of a refund they wanted me to pick substitutes, but I want a refund. As soon as I insisted on a refund, my polite but completely unhepful rep became snooty and unhelpful and passed me up to the owner who was polite and unhelpful. Bottom line, they may say they have rare roses, but they didn't deliver. Might as well not have them.
