Mid-spring, South Australia, zone 9b. 2 or 3-year-old plant in a Rose of Sharon hibiscus. Found rose thought to be Aglaia; earlier blooming than most of the ramblers here. The bright pink in the background is a hybrid Leptospermum from NZ.

Almost thornless. Very healthy, disease resistant, dry heat tolerant. Healthy growth, but quite mannerly and easy to maintain and train. Mine is only a year in this yard and already has canes about 12 ft long.
