'VIRbrown' rose Reviews & Comments

Brand-new in my garden, and I wish I could post pictures showing the range of different colors on the plant. Those pretty buds are opening to a light apricot, which promptly deepens to pink, then a deep rose. I see there's an "unknown China" in the breeding and you can sure see that in the rose. As the weather has cooled the opening buds are showing a deep-parchmend tone. Wish I were a photographer, as this rose has unique coloration at every stage.

Thanks Barbara. The range of colors includes burnt orange and coffee brown as well as lilac. Hope you get to see these also in your blooms

Burnt orange anad coffee brown? I'll be ecstatic to see these in my garden. I found a companion for it-- Kordes Lions-Rose. Both will get late afternoon shade. Should be interesting, as both have the "veining" which I love. Wish you had registered, as this is one of those roses whose color will vary probably both with climate and with season.
