Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1910).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1912 as 'Rayon d'Or'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, ages to lighter .  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Spreading.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
