Three Danish Rose Novelties. Breeder: D. T. Poulsen, Copenhagen. Seller: Viktor Teschendorff; Cossebaude-Dresden... Rödhätte (Rotkäppchen)[Red Riding Hood] Hybrid-Polyantha. Crossing of Mme Norb. Levavasseur X Liberty. This sort is after 'Gruss an Aachen', the second in the class of Hybrid Polyanthas. She is 60-70 cm tall, the blooms stand in large, upright clusters, are quite simply double, last, however, unexpectedly extraordinarily long without losing their petals. This was especially admired at the Hamburg Rose Show, where the cut flowers, despite having being cut 2 days ago, were perfect until the last exhibition day, without being renewed. The colour of the blooms is an intense dark bright red. This sort, shouls most probably not only become a good group Rose, but also be suitable for table decoration as a container forced Rose.
