(or 'Burnet Rose') is common throughout Europe… in the 1930s, Kordes produced the lovely large shrubs which share the prefix 'Frühlings' (spring) by crossing the 'Burnet Rose' with Hybrid Teas. All do well on sandy soils and in cold gardens where most roses grow poorly.
