Origin:
Bred by Michael Henry Horvath (United States, 1898).
Introduced in United States by Pitcher and Manda Nursery in 1898 as 'Evergreen Gem'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Buff, ages to white .  Moderate, sweetbriar fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  
Height of up to 9' 10" (up to 300 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
