Light pink, darker undertones. Mild to strong, tea fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular, reflexed bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Rounded buds.
Glossy, light green, wavy or ruffled foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height of 39" to 8' (100 to 245 cm). Width of 6' (185 cm).
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be trained as a climber.
Said to be the first of the Tea roses. Parentage uncertain. See References.
The identity of the rose in commerce in the USA as 'Adam' has been questioned.
