KIRSTEN POULSEN
(Hybrid Polyantha)
Introduced 1925
Bright cherry-red, with golden anthers.
This is an ideal single Rose for the small garden. The plants flower in large clusters and come into bloom early in June and continue on until November. Very little pruning is required beyond cutting out early in March any dead wood, and just shortening the long shoots about three inches. It is also a fine Rose for making a hedge, or growing as a big bush.
