Francis Blaise has very tiny prickles, wide-spaced apart. I consider it to be low-thorn.

Francis Blaise becomes pinkish-orange in cooler temp. It has a great myrrh scent, better than my Scepter'd Isle and Queen of Sweden. In hot summer, it smells like floral green apple, which changes to myrrh in cooler temp. The bloom lasts long on the bush, and in the vase.
