Bred by Antoine Mari (France, before 1890).
Introduced in France by Léon Jupeau in 1900 as 'Madame Antoine Mari'.

Tea.  

Light pink, white shading, cream center.  Center cream. Outer petals shaded red.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 4".  Large, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long buds.  

Well-branched.  
Height of 2' to 4' (60 to 120 cm).  Width of 2' to 7' (60 to 215 cm).

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  drought resistant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
