Bred by Ernest Levavasseur (France, 1909).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1911 as 'Orléans'.

Bloom:
Rose-red to geranium-red, red highlights, carmine-red outer petals.  Mild fragrance.  Semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 30" to 42" (75 to 105cm).  Width: up to 42" (up to 105cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
