China / Bengale, Miniature.
Carmine-pink, ages to light pink . Flowers white, pink or red. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 1.5". Small, very full (41+ petals), flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Height of 2' (60 cm).
USDA zone 7b through 10b. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..
for speculation about parentage, including that 'Rouletii' is a sport of 'Pumila'
and distinctions between the two. Recent genetic analysis has shown that 'Rouletii' is genetically identical to 'Old Blush', i.e. it is a direct or indirect sport of 'Old Blush'.- see References.
