The Summer Rose Garden.
The Monstrous Provence, Cabbage-leaved, or centifolia bullata, has that large and curious inflated foliage, which we have no expressive name for, but which the French call "bullée": it is a vigorous-growing plant, with flowers like the Old Provence.

98. Centifolia Bullata. — Cent feuilles à feuilles de Laitue. — Cent feuilles à feuilles de Chou.
Folioles très-granges, extraordinairement bullées, ondées et arquées. Fleur grande, pleine, globuleuse, rose clair, égal, vif et brillant. La singularité du feuillage est d'autant plus prononcée que l'arbuste est plus vigoureux.
