Bred by George Lilley (United Kingdom, 1928).

China / Bengale, Polyantha.  Earth Kind ™.  

Lilac pink.  None / no fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Compact.  Glossy, medium green, attractive fall color foliage.  
Height of 3' to 4' (90 to 120 cm).  Width of 3' to 4' (90 to 120 cm).

USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for container rose, garden or landscape.  Hardy.  heat tolerant.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  

"Caldwell Pink" was found in Texas and is still sold under that name as a Polyantha. Pink Pet was originally sold and classified as a polyantha but was later reclassified as a China by the ARS.
