I have recieved a dozen roses, now a while ago a friend had told me about a way to keep it looking alive.....it was spraying something on them......if anyone knows please let me know......thank you

I have seen roses dried in the microwave or treated with silica sand or gel to preserve the flowers, but in my opinion, the roses just look like dried flowers and do not look as beautiful as a fresh bouquet.
