This tree-rose is the largest I have ever had.
As this variety is very winter-hardy it's getting bigger & taller by the year.
Here the size of this tree rose :
1.30 Meters (51 inches) across the top. Total height from bud-union to top is 2.30 Meters, which is about 90 inches !!
I was never able to take a photo of the whole tree rose in full bloom because of all the rain we had in June.
I estimated "About 50 blooms for the top spray", but counted 69 blooms in ALL after cutting it off.
Estimated total blooms : maybe 300 plus.
It never ever had mildew or blackspot with very limited spraying about 4 to 5 times a year, since I had it in 1991. It is a sister seedling of 'Rubies 'n' Pearls. |
