This rose took a little time to get going. It actually grows well though, and is hardy at least to zone 6. It flowers somewhat sparesly so far, but it is so cheery! It's a very compact little plant, so it's worth growing even if it takes its time to get established. The color is just magical. Purple pink with metallic qualities.

This rose grows well for me in zone 8. I have it in a large pot with medium sun exposure. Disease is not much of a problem. The color is a very rare true lilac and the yellow stamens contrast beautifully. The blossoms are about 2" across and really catch the eye. Wish it were more commercially produced.
