I bought 'Charlotte' from DA USA in Texas this year--first ever order from that source.
I regret to have to report that my plant is showing RMV on its' leaves, which means it will likely not survive the winter in zone 5.
Anyone wanting to buy this pretty rose might want to consider a different source.

This rose is one of the best performers in my Zone 6b CT garden. I have two plants, and they both got snapped down to the ground by heavy snow this winter. They both grew back rapidly and put out impressive flushes this year. Charlotte is one of the rare Austins in my experience with flowers that can stand up to direct sun and not get utterly destroyed.

This spring, april, 2014 my bush is only in it's second year. Growth was impressive last year, but this year is covered in blackspot. Lower half is completely defoliated. I haven't tried to fight it at all, I'm just seeing what it will do. Abraham Darby and Louise Odier are in the same bed and they are badly affected as well.
