Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1941).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. in 1941 as 'Cheer'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, compact.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
Modern Roses 10 says this rose is extinct. Vintage Gardens disagrees and the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden grows it.
