Discovered by Jan Böhm (Czechoslovakia (former), 1935).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. in 1950 as 'Blaze Improved'.

Climber, Floribunda, Cl., Hybrid Wichurana, Large-Flowered Climber.  
Bloom:
Scarlet - red.  Cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing.  
Height of 12' to 15' (365 to 455 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 3b through 10b.  Can be used for cut flower, landscape or pillar.
