Duquesa de Peñaranda...is also known as Morning Blush. A Pernetiana, in its lineage Souvenir de Claudius Pernet as seed and pollen from a now-defunct Dot rose named Rosella....The description of Friera...:
Large semi-double bloom, orange-salmon, fragrant. Exceptionally vigorous and floriferous, very glossy foliage. Godd for growing in pots. Gold medal in Pedralbes, 1929, Gold Medal in Portland (USA), 1933.

Duquesa de Penaranda (H.T.) has reamrkable long-pointed flowers of coppery-orange borne singly on straight stems, and can be an outstanding rose. The habit is vigorous, and the glossy bright green foliage makes it particularly attractive. Dot 1931...Extremely tall growth. Moderately fragrant...June-September. Hardy.
