Bred by Joseph Sauvageot (France, before 1932).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1935 as 'Henri Pauthier'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Strong, centifolia fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, thornless (or almost), upright, well-branched.  Glossy, dark green, dense foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Dedicated to Henri Pauthier (1859 Russey, Doubs - 1924 Paris), French professor of literature. He originated in the same Département as the Breeder.
