Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1910 as 'Commandeur Jules Gravereaux'.

Bloom:
Red, light brown shading.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 6".  Very large, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
