Origin:
Bred by Claude Ducher (1820-1874) (France, 1872).
Introduced in Australia by Law, Somner Pty. Ltd. in 1886 as 'Amazone'.

Bloom:
Deep yellow, salmon-yellow veining.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2.75".  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).  Width: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Heat tolerant.
