'Félicité Parmentier' rose References
Book  (2005)  Page(s) 74.

'Félicité Parmentier' Parmentier (Belgium) before 1841. Habit: upright shrub (but may arch under the weight of its blooms); medium tall (approx. 1,50m); brown prickles. Foliage: deep yellowish grey-green; strongly serrated leaflets. Bloom: very full; flat, then expanded; folded petals; greenish yellow buds; long sepals. Colour: flesh-pink, passing to cream-white. Fragrance: medium, but very agreable.
'Félicité Parmentier' is one of the innumerable varieties obtained by Louis Parmentier, of Enghien (Belgium). Contrary to what Dickerson indicates, there is no reason at all to call this variety 'Félicité', as it is named 'Félicité Parmentier' in the collection of its breeder (no. 268 of the catalogue).
'Félicité Parmentier' is one of the very good roses of the Alba group. It is very healthy and its habit is harmonious. One can only recommend it.
