Bred by Captain George C. Thomas (United States, 1931).
Introduced in United States by Armstrong Nursery in 1931 as 'Bloomfield Dawn'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Bloomfield Dawn'.
Class:
Hybrid Musk, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Light pink, deep pink reverse, yellow undertones.  Moderate, damask fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 10b.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
