Origin:
Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, 1897).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1903 as 'Hélène'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Lilac - pink, cream undertones, ages to white .  Mild fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double to double, in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Light green foliage.  

Height: 12' to 15' (365 to 455cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  very vigorous.
