Bred by César Chambard (France, before 1913).
Introduced in France by C. Chambard in 1915 as 'Mademoiselle Louise Cretté'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1921 as 'Louise Cretté'.

Bloom:
White, cream center.  Moderate, apple fragrance.  55 petals.  Average diameter 6.5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy, climbing, thornless (or almost), upright, well-branched.  Large, dark green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.
