Origin:
Bred by Walter Irwin Johnston (Ireland, before 1934). Bred by Samuel Davidson McGredy III (Ireland, 1934).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1937 as 'McGredy's Pride'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Apricot and coral-pink, golden-yellow shading, yellow reverse, light pink flecks.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
