Here in Z8 no-spray, Heritage has been very vigorous in both red and grey clay, and sandy soil. Stays evergreen and gets huge in no full sun to all day full sun. The flowers are very pretty but do blow quickly with not much scent yet. Using for versatile location landscaping, not for the vase.

I have to put in a vote for Heritage. It's my all-time favorite rose. I have an own-root here in Eastern Washington zone 5b that has been absolutely trouble-free for over 10 years. Five feet tall and almost as wide, with a massive spring display and reliable smaller flushes throughout the summer. Yes, the blooms shatter quickly and do not stand up to rain very well, but their scent and beauty more than make up for that, at least for me.
